A little less every year. Nothing dramatic, until you pin it up.
No handfuls in the shower. Just scalp at your temples or on top, where there used to be hair. Growth Serum is a leave-in scalp serum used as a protocol: two minutes, twice a day. And it was measured: in an independent clinical study, average hair density was 80% higher after 6 months.*
*Instrumental measurement with a microcamera, independent study, n = 10, p < 0.05. Results vary between individuals.

Not all at once. Just a little less, every year.
It happened so slowly you couldn’t say when it started. Then one day you pinned your hair up, or saw a photo taken from above, and there it was: scalp at your temples or on top, where there used to be hair.
You did the reasonable things. You had your blood tested, and everything came back normal. You bought the scalp lotions and used them properly, for months. And still, a little less every year.

Thyroid, iron, the full set of results. Good news, and it left you exactly where you were.
Not for a week each. For months, as the label instructed. And your hair kept doing what it was doing.
You don’t say it out loud. But every year you check, and every year there’s a little less.
If this is you, you didn’t give up too early. You just had nothing to judge it by.
Months of trying, and no way to tell
Think about the last lotion. You didn’t stop after a week. You used it for months, the way the label said. And the whole time, the only way to judge it was the mirror: the same mirror that took years to show you anything had changed.
So you went by feel. One month looked a little better, the next didn’t. In the end nothing seemed different, so you bought the next one and started guessing again.
Nothing was wrong with your patience. Slow change is almost impossible to see by eye from one week to the next. To judge it fairly you need two things no label gave you: a date set in advance to look, and a product that was actually measured.
Months of use, judged by eye. Then the next bottle.
Nothing visible yet. That’s normal.
First measurement in the study
Final measurement
Hair is slow. Here’s exactly how slow, and why it matters.
Every hair on your head keeps its own calendar.
Each hair grows, rests, falls out and is replaced on its own schedule. That’s why losing some hair every day is normal: it’s usually estimated at 50 to 100 hairs a day.
The hair is actively growing. On a healthy scalp, around 85 to 90% of hairs are in this phase at any one time.
The hair stops growing but stays in place. When more hairs than usual are resting at once, hair looks thinner.
The old hair falls out and a new one starts growing in its place. From there, it grows roughly one cm a month, and the cycle repeats.
What does this mean for you? The hair you checked in the mirror a few weeks in was the same hair you had on day one. And the hairs in your brush that week had stopped growing long before you opened the bottle. By about month three, the hairs that were resting on day one have made way for new ones. That’s the first honest moment to look.
And that changes the question from
“which product should I try next?”
to
“what will I still be doing every day, three months from now?”
And the answer?... you need a routine, one simple enough to keep, every day, for months. A protocol.
A leave-in scalp serum and a two-minute routine, for less hair loss and denser hair.

Growth Serum is a light, water-based serum from SkinFairytale that you leave on your scalp. No rinsing, no greasy roots, no change to how you style or colour your hair.
What makes it a protocol is the plan around it: two minutes every morning and evening, a first check at month 3 and a second at month 6. You know when to look, and you’re never left guessing in between.
That matters more than it sounds. With the lotions before, months went by and you still couldn’t say whether anything had changed. This time, you’ll know when to look.
So how does this work, day to day?
Two minutes in the morning. Two in the evening.
Use at least once a day. We recommend twice a day, following the same three steps.

A few drops onto the scalp, where your hair looks thinner.

About a minute with your fingertips or the scalp massager. The relaxing part.

No rinsing. Style as usual. Your hair stays dry and non-greasy.
You have, so the two minutes aren’t the hard part. The hard part is the stretch when you’ve done everything right and the mirror still looks the same.
So this time you won’t be guessing: we email you each month with what’s normal at that stage, and remind you when it’s time to take your check-in photos.
That’s the how. Now the why: what’s actually in the bottle?
You’ve tried biotin. You’ve tried caffeine. You haven’t tried these two.
“I’ve used so many lotions” often means the same few names, bottle after bottle. Growth Serum has those too. But it’s built around two plant-derived ingredients you probably haven’t tried yet.

An extract of pea sprouts, developed in Switzerland. Helps reduce hair loss and stimulate hair growth.

Made from the cells of the turmeric plant (Curcuma longa). Helps reduce hair loss and supports fuller-looking hair.
Plus the ones you know, for scalp care, in a rosemary water base:

Silicone-free · No added fragrance · Vegan
Both are plant-derived, and the serum is dermatologically tested. It’s a cosmetic, not a medicine.
But new doesn’t mean better. So how do you know any of this works?
Don’t take our word for it. Look at the measurements.
An outside laboratory measured hair density, or how closely hairs sit on the scalp, in ten people before they started Growth Serum, after 3 months, and after 6 months. Here’s what it found.
Month 3 and month 6 are also when you take your own check-in photos.
Tested on the serum itself. The finished Growth Serum, not single ingredients by themselves.
Measured, not judged. A 400× microcamera measured and recorded the result. Nobody was asked how their hair “felt”.
Conducted by an independent laboratory. We commissioned the study. They conducted and analysed it, and the result is statistically significant.*

*Instrumental measurement with a microcamera (Callegari 1930 Soft Plus). Independent study commissioned by SkinFairytale, n = 10, p = 0.00013 at 6 months. In the study the serum was applied once a day. The 3-month figure was not tested for significance on its own. Results vary between individuals.
So what do those six months look like in practice?
What each month actually looks like
The protocol has two phases. Phase 1 takes you to your first check at month 3. Phase 2 takes you on to month 6.
Building the routine, up to your first check.
Twice a day, every day. No change yet is normal. The only goal: make the two minutes automatic.
Weeks in, the mirror looks the same, just as it did with the lotions before. The difference this time: you know the date you’re waiting for.
The first honest moment to look, and where the study took its first measurement.
Between the phases, you decide. We ask before Phase 1 runs out, and nothing ships automatically.
The same routine, up to the full six months.
Same routine, same two minutes. By now it’s part of your day.
The end of the protocol, and where the study took its final measurement.
No, it’s your choice. But hundreds of customers keep using it. Think of it like skincare: a care routine keeps working for as long as you keep doing it. By month 6 the two minutes are already part of your morning and evening routine, so staying with it takes nothing new, just another bottle. And don’t worry, nothing renews automatically.
Okay, that’s the plan on paper. But has anyone actually done it?
Growth Serum is already part of the daily routine for women across Slovenia
Since Growth Serum launched, we’ve sent out more than 2,000 bottles, and that’s before counting the ones sold in stores. This is how a few use it in their routine.
Thank you for such a good product. After 3 months the difference is already obvious.
Light texture, doesn’t weigh hair down. The dropper measures nicely.

Good for them. So how does a serum compare to other products?
A serum is the one you put on your scalp and leave there.
Think about your shampoo. It’s on your scalp for about a minute, and then almost all of it goes down the drain. EU safety scientists put what’s left at about 1%.*
A serum isn’t rinsed off, so 100% of it stays on your scalp to do the work. Here’s how it looks next to other products.

Same form as this one: it goes on the scalp and stays there. What differs is what’s in the bottle and what’s behind it. For Growth Serum that’s a clinical study on the finished serum, two ingredients you haven’t tried, our help with keeping up the routine and a 180-day guarantee.
*Standard values from the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS Notes of Guidance, 12th revision, 2023): 0.01 for shampoo, 1.0 for products left on the skin. They describe how much of a product stays on the skin, not how well a product works.
So it’s different. But is it for you?
This isn’t for everyone. Here’s who it’s for.
We’d rather lose a sale than have you start something that isn’t right for you.
- you’re shedding more than you used to
- your hair looks thinner or has lost volume
- you want a cosmetic you can use every day
- you finish what you start: two minutes, twice a day, for three months
- you want a difference in a week
- parts of your scalp have had no hair for years
- your hair loss is sudden, patchy or comes with other symptoms. That’s a question for a doctor, not a cosmetic.
- you already know you won’t keep going to month 3
If you found yourself in the first box,

A lot in one box.
But is it worth the money?
That depends on how much it bothers you.
If it’s something you notice now and then, a cheaper bottle may be all you want to spend on it. Pharmacy shelves have scalp lotions for a fraction of the price.
But if you’ve paid for bottle after bottle and still can’t tell what changed, then you already know price was never the problem. Proof wax.
Paid once: 1.181,94 PLN for the full six months, or 590,97 PLN for Phase 1. Serum, gifts and the plan included. No subscription, nothing renews.

And if you do all of it and you’re still not happy?
Then you get your money back. Even if the bottles are empty.
Most guarantees give you 30 days. This takes months, so ours runs for 180.
It covers your first order of a 3- or 6-month plan. If you start with Phase 1 and carry straight on to Phase 2, it covers both. The 180 days run from your first order and don’t start again. A single bottle isn’t long enough to judge, so it isn’t covered.
We ask three things:
About the photos: they only show that you followed the protocol. We don’t judge them. You decide whether you’re happy. They are never published or used in advertising without your written permission.
Fair enough. So who’s making that promise?
A dedicated team from Slovenia you haven’t heard of... yet.
We’re SkinFairytale from Naklo, a small town in Slovenia. It all started in 2014 when our founder Katarina made a balm for her baby daughter’s skin.
Then came Growth Serum, which started the same way, only this time it was for Katarina herself. She has dealt with hair loss for a long time, and the final formula took more than two years to develop.
Now we’re taking Growth Serum beyond Slovenia, and Poland is one of our first stops. Nobody here knows us yet, but we’d like to change that, one routine at a time.

Good to know. But I still have a couple of questions.
Go ahead, ask.
Is it a medicine?
What exactly is in it?
Can it irritate my scalp?
Will my hair look greasy? Can I still style and colour it?
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
When will I see results?
Why twice a day?
What happens after month 6? Do I have to use it forever?
Is this a subscription?
Can I try one bottle first?
In six months, you’ll be six months older anyway. What do you want your hair to look like when you get there?
P.S. If you scrolled straight to the bottom, welcome, we do it too. Here’s the page in four lines. Growth Serum is a leave-in scalp serum. It takes two minutes, morning and evening, for three to six months. In an independent study, average hair density was 80% higher after six months.* And if you follow the protocol on a 3- or 6-month plan and you’re not happy, you have 180 days to ask for your money back, even with empty bottles. Phew, that was fast. If only hair worked like that.
P.P.S. No, it isn’t a subscription. We checked twice.
*Instrumental measurement with a microcamera (Callegari 1930 Soft Plus). Independent study commissioned by SkinFairytale, n = 10, p = 0.00013 at 6 months. In the study the serum was applied once a day. Results vary between individuals.
