Coconut intimate balm

What do you use to care for your intimate areas?

Just water?

Intimate soaps?

Want an easy recipe?

I swear by a very simple recipe that is always available in our bathroom. The main ingredient is coconut butter.

WHY COCONUT BUTTER?

It moisturizes, protects, strengthens, nourishes the skin and is a real balm for the skin. It has anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is rich in vitamins A, B and E, which moisturize and nourish the skin and protect against the formation of free radicals. It helps to heal damaged skin faster by stimulating the formation of collagen.

For the recipe you will need:

150g coconut butter

5g apricot kernel oil

5g fractionated coconut oil

1g of vitamin E

5 -10 drops of tea tree essential oil (optional!)

Fireproof dish (I recommend Pyrex)

Pot of water (for steam bath)

Mixer

200g jar or bottle with dispenser

Partially melt the coconut butter in a double boiler, it doesn't need to be completely melted. When it cools down a bit, add apricot kernel oil (or any other oil you like) and fractionated coconut oil. I like this oil because it has practically no expiration date, its texture is light and quickly absorbed.

Start mixing. When you reach a creamy texture, add vitamin E and tea tree essential oil. Blend the ingredients in a blender.

Pour into a cup or bottle of your choice. I have a bottle with a dispenser for this purpose.

VOILA! The intimate coconut balm is ready 🙂

TIP:

You can also use coconut balm to wash your hands or as a shower gel. Your skin will be like butter 🙂

If desired, add your favorite natural fragrance or essential oil.

I don't swear by essential oils for everyday intimate care. I only add tea tree essential oil when I have problems, otherwise I leave it out.

If your bathroom is very warm, I advise you to keep the intimate coconut balm at room temperature so that it doesn't just become a care oil ;).
