MANGO BUTTER

You're probably all familiar with the beautiful yellow-orange mango fruit. You've probably tried it in smoothies, salads, and juices, so you know how great and juicy it is. Have you ever tried mango butter? Do you know what it's made from?

The fruit itself comes from a tropical tree called the Mango tree, native to South Asia. Due to popular demand, the trees are now also planted elsewhere, such as in India, China, Brazil and Mexico. The trees grow to around 40 metres tall with green leaves and small white flowers. The fruit ripens in summer, with characteristic yellow-orange fruits.

When you removed the seeds or pits from the fruit, you probably didn't know that they were used to make butter. Butter can be used as an alternative to regular butter for cooking and baking, and of course on our skin.

Mango butter is soft and has a delicate scent that is not unlike the scent of the fruit itself.

Because mango is used for similar purposes as shea and cocoa butter, it contains more vitamins and antioxidants. It is rich in high levels of vitamin C, A, palmitic acid, arachidonic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid. That is why it is so effective in treating skin problems. It has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin, so it is great for itchy and dry skin. Suitable for relieving eczema, psoriasis, psoriasis, for caring for the pregnant belly and for relieving the appearance of stretch marks and so on.

Due to its high vitamin A content, it promotes healthy cell renewal, which helps to firm the skin, reduces the appearance of fine lines and stimulates skin cells, which are important for keeping the skin looking firm and toned. Mango butter softens the skin and helps keep it smooth and supple.
