INGREDIENTS IN OUR BALM

Because I want you to know what you are using on your skin, or understand the purpose of a certain ingredient in the balm you or your child is using, I have prepared brief descriptions of all the ingredients in our balms.

MANGO BUTTER

Mango butter is a light, nourishing butter with high skin healing properties. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. Vitamin E and stearic acid in it are excellent antioxidants that prevent premature skin aging, have moisturizing, regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects.
It helps to heal minor skin damage and provides ample nourishment. EVENING OIL

 Evening primrose oil is one of the most valuable oils. It is a light oil that does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin and is quickly absorbed. Due to its high content of omega 6 fatty acids, especially gamma-linolenic acid, it helps to restore balance to the skin and contribute to its proper functioning.

The oil is suitable for all skin types, but especially for dry and problematic skin prone to allergies, dermatitis, acne, and itching.

HEMP EXTRACT

Industrial hemp oil extract in MCT oil (saturated medium-chain triglycerides). Excellent for relieving itching, soothing irritated skin, and regenerating.

BLACK CUMIN OIL

Black cumin oil has been used medicinally for almost 2,000 years.

It boasts moisturizing and antibacterial properties. It is suitable for dry, sensitive and irritated skin. The skin is nourished, smooth and supple after application. The oil has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, essential oils (nigellone), B vitamins, folic acid, minerals (calcium, zinc, iron, copper) and phytosterols.

Calamine is a powder that acts as a mild natural antiseptic and is a mixture of zinc carbonate and zinc oxide. It has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin.

It is used to treat itchy and irritated skin caused by chickenpox, insect bites, measles, eczema, acne, sunburn, poisonous plants, and other minor skin conditions.

SUNFLOWER OIL

It is a light oil that does not clog pores. It is rich in palmitic acid (up to 6.2%), stearic acid (up to 6.2%), linoleic acid (up to 21%) and oleic acid (up to 90.7%), lecithin, vitamins A, D and E, as well as carotenoids and waxes. It acts as an antioxidant that regenerates and restores the skin. Due to its high vitamin E content, it is suitable for the care of dry and sensitive skin, has the ability to regenerate skin cells and reduce scarring.

VITAMIN E

GLYCERIN

GRAPE SEED OIL

Grapeseed oil is a light and non-greasy oil that strengthens cell walls and restores sensitive skin.

The oil is very suitable for the care of skin affected by dermatitis, acne, dryness, general sensitivity, sunburn, abrasions, stretch marks and premature aging. It contains linoleic acid, which our body is not able to produce on its own, so we must obtain it from food. Grape seed oil contains a very high concentration of vitamins E, C, flavonoids, linoleic acid, antioxidants and compounds called procyanidins.

It strengthens the skin, increases its vitality and gives it a radiant and natural appearance. It makes the skin silky soft, smooth and supple.

SHEA BUTTER

 Shea butter is suitable for all skin types. It is a nourishing and moisturizing butter that helps retain moisture and prevent skin from drying out.

The butter is rich in fatty acids, provitamin A, vitamins E and F and a small amount of allantoin, making it ideal for the care of dry and mature skin. It is extremely beneficial and effective for problems caused by scars, burns, rashes and psoriasis. It soothes irritated skin, restores its tone, softens it and nourishes it abundantly.

Due to the cinnamic acid it contains, caution is advised, as it may cause an allergic reaction in some people (e.g. those with atopic dermatitis).

COCOA BUTTER

Cocoa butter protects and nourishes the skin, strengthens its defenses and stimulates its renewal. SQUALAN

JOJOBA OIL

Jojoba oil is a liquid wax in structure. It has a similar chemical composition to skin sebum, so it is suitable for both dry and oily skin, as it regulates sebum secretion. It is also used on damaged skin and restores it.
